    I NEVER NEVER say, ‘You may kiss the bride’. What could be more patronising than some old minister (priest, registrar, judge, computer, whatever) giving permission to two married adults, who have just committed their lives to each other, to express what they have done with a kiss? I expect them to do it, but it’s just so tacky to tell them that they ‘may’.
